Upgrading PhotoMix from previous versions


Before you start upgrading the program, make sure that PhotoMix isn't running on your computer. If the program is running, close it.

To upgrade your version of PhotoMix, you should download and install the latest PhotoMix version available at: http://www.photomix.com/download/

To preserve functionality and availability of any installed add-ins and image lists, you should install PhotoMix to the previously used installation directory.

If installation to the previously used installation directory is impossible, you should:

If you install the new version of PhotoMix to a directory different from the one used before, and you wish to preserve all additionally installed modules, do the following:

  • Locate the previous installation folder on your computer;
  • Transfer any files remaining in this old folder to the new PhotoMix installation directory. Note! It is important that you preserve the directory structure.

We do not guarantee that different versions of PhotoMix installed on one computer will operate correctly.

If you are a registered program user, you should obtain new serial number once you have performed program upgrade. To do this please go to http://www.photomix.com/update/ and fill online form. You will get new serial number by email.
